The story you're telling—that’s what’s holding you back.
It's hard to see, but the belief in your own limitations is your biggest obstacle.
Yesterday, I asked my community: what's stopping you from making progress?
Common replies: "I don't have time," "My partner isn't supportive," "I'm injured," "My age is a barrier," or, "I don't know where to start."
Now, picture this. You’re on your deathbed, only wishing for more time.
Would the excuses you have now still matter? Would they justify the life you didn't live?
Reality check: The only person holding you back is staring right at you in the mirror.
Deep down, you know you could be doing more.
Working 60, 70, or 80 hours a week? Your choice.
Living for the weekend, a slave to your paycheck? Your choice.
Stuck in a relationship that drags you down? Your choice.
An injury preventing progress? Your choice to let it stop you.
Others out there are winning with less—less time, less support, fewer resources.
What’s the difference?
They choose to push through. They use their excuses as fuel, not barriers.
So, here's a simple question: What if you flipped the script? Instead of asking why you can’t, start asking how you can.
Taking ownership is the first step to reaching your goals.
Own it.
You are where you are because of the choices you made.
Stop lying to yourself. It's painful but necessary.
Leaving your comfort zone is terrifying.
Yes, you’ll slip. Yes, you’ll fall. Yes, you’ll fail.
But if you want an extraordinary life, you have to do what others won’t.
It starts with ownership.
Your life is your responsibility.
Rewrite your story.
