Calves, Calves, Calves. Most of us struggle to build our calves and most of that is because we forget how often this muscle is used on a day-to-day basis. Your calves are muscles that are constantly being engaged and used in just about every movement we do, which means they're resilient!
What I have found, is the best way to build them is to focus less on the amount of weight I'm using but instead, focus on the time under tension by performing slow, controlled movements with an exaggerated squeeze at the top of each repetition!
Also, make sure you're hitting your calf training with varying toe angles to target the different parts of the calf muscle!
