I watched a video this weekend that made a lot of sense.

Basically, the concept the gentleman described is that what we as men want most at the end of the day is nothing.

At the end of the day, we want to have the money and time to sit and do nothing. Peace of mind, without worry, thinking about nothing.

Problem free.

It made complete sense for a minute and I actually partially agree with his statements.

However, fulfillment, happiness, and peace of mind do not come from us as men achieving a state of "nothingness;" without problems to solve or challenges to face.

They come from achieving that state by solving problems and challenges that are in alignment with our core purpose.

I want to educate you for a second.

I'm sure at the end of the day, you find yourself in a place where you would prefer to sit and relax, do nothing, and enjoy your time off.

You tell yourself that you're lacking the energy and motivation to do the things you feel like you "should" do but prefer to do nothing.

Because of that, you feel depressed, self-conscious, struggle with self-worth - those issues are not the cause of your lack of energy, drive, and motivation - they are symptoms of your lack of purpose.

Have you ever found yourself in a place where you were working on a new project, idea, job, or relationship and went to sleep thinking about it, went to bed thinking about it, and spent most of your day investing your time into it?

You had the "motivation" to do it daily and it was exciting for you?
That feeling of PURPOSE?

That's what we as men need - and when we face the challenges, problems, and obstacles that come with pursuing that purpose, we feel good?
You become more confident, you feel better doing it, and you look forward to solving more problems.

The lack of energy, lack of motivation, and depression don't seem to exist?
Well, that my friend, is why I use the gym and your health to create that sense of purpose in your life.

Because lifting weights is the easiest way to give you tangible "problems' to focus on - you want to get stronger, you want to get faster, you want to get better.

Every day when you hit the weights, you see what you did last week and you begin competing with yourself.

Well, I can tell you - the gym and fitness are just a start.

That's the key difference between bringing a coach to the table and following the programs on your own.

Not only do we optimize the programming and diet to get you the fastest results possible but we also apply the same concept you've learned with your health to the rest of your life.

Now you can create other channels for finding fulfillment and purpose in your life.

This creates positive growth, improves your mindset, and enhances the quality of the life you live.

The gym is the beginning, brother, it's time for you to find the man inside who's been struggling to find that spark in your life.

Rekindle the fire and live in a place of extreme purpose and passion.
Live as a warrior who doesn't accept anything than more each day.
This is how you create success, this is how you grow, and this is how you defeat those demons crawling inside of your mind daily.

Stay vigilant and on track this week,

- Josh
